What will we do? See? Learn?
Three and four-year-old students will get up close and personal with the vehicles they love to see on the road or in the field, including: construction and utility trucks, ambulances, diggers, commercial farm equipment, and many more! They will also get to meet emergency personnel, linemen, construction workers, truck drivers and other community helpers that keep our world turning behind the wheel!
What learning resources will we receive?
With your reservation, you will be provided resources to use before and after your visit, which will maximize fun and learning!
How long will it take?
The Preschool Field Trip Friday will be open on March 31, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You will have so much fun you will want to stay all day, but unfortunately, we do not offer all day experiences. We hope your students will want to come back with their families on Saturday!
How many chaperones will we need? And what is the admission cost for chaperones?
At a minimum, you will need one chaperone for every four children. The $10 child’s entrance fee also admits one chaperone. We ask that the number of chaperones not exceed the number of children.
Where should we park?
Parking will be available at Trustmark Park. Volunteers will be on site to assist.
Will transportation be provided?
You are responsible for transportation to and from the event. Please contact us at fieldtripfriday@touchatruckjackson.com for information regarding special needs accommodations.
What happens when we arrive?
You will be greeted on the bus by one of our Touch A Truck® Jackson volunteers who will brief you on what to expect for the day and escort you to registration. Once you are checked in, you will meet a “Foreman” who will guide your visit.

Is a deposit required?
Yes. Deposits are due in the amount of $75.00 on or before November 18, 2022. The deposit amount will be applied to cover the cost of admission of your class.
When is payment due?
Final payment (more than 7 kids) is due on or before February 28, 2023.
What if it rains?
Field Trip Friday is a rain or shine event. In the event of inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, The Junior League of Jackson reserves the right to cancel the event. Refunds will not be provided.
What happens after I register?
You will receive an immediate confirmation email as well as a receipt confirming payment. In January, you will receive copies of the Touch A Truck® Jackson’s learning resources to integrate into your plans as you prepare for your trip. One month before the trip, you will receive an email confirming your reservation with last minute field trip tips.
